The Knee is fixed… Again

Martial Arts can be rough on the body. The are a lot of movements that put pressure on the joints and that’s not even counting sparring.

For the second time I’ve torn the ACL in my left knee. They also had to remove more of my medial meniscus and the lateral meniscus was repaired.

The upside is, that since this is the second time I have had this surgery I have a good idea of what to expect in terms of the pain involved and the recovery time that will be needed.

That doesn’t mean that it will be easy. I’ve got a lot of rehab ahead of me and this will likely put off me testing for my next dan in American Kenpo which is supposed to be next June.
